I love to cook and use a lot of olive oil. I use a basic extra virgin olive oil, like the big jugs from Costco or Whole Foods, for general cooking and a higher quality one for salad dressing and drizzling on eggs and soup. My current favorite “nicer” olive oil comes from Grove & Vine. They source their olives seasonally from groves around the world. If you subscribe, which I do, you will receive a different regional olive oil every 3 months. Each bottle comes with a tasting note, a recipe and a beautiful picture, usually of the grove where the olives were harvested. It is like getting the perfect present every 3 months!
