A Little Something For Everyone

The holidays are just around the corner, and I am determined to have all my shopping done by this Sunday. If you still need some ideas, I have put together a list of a few of my favorite things from the last year. I do not receive any commission, they are just things I have enjoyed, and feel are worth the money.

Happy Holidays!

Health

  • The Ice Pod by the Pod Company. I have been experimenting with cold therapy and this is an inexpensive but quality way to cold plunge. It easily fits on our deck and is only around $100. The health benefits of cold therapy are numerous so if you know of someone who wants to challenge themselves and do something healthy, this is a great gift.

  • Eight Sleep Pod by Eight Sleep. This has been a game changer for my sleep. No more getting too hot (or too cold) at night. My overall sleep quality has improved dramatically. I can not say enough about this…it is worth every penny.

  • Tally Health membership. Perfect for the biohacker or anyone obsessed with longevity, this company provides longevity suggestions, supplements, and a test to measure your biological age.

Beauty

  • One Skin face and body lotion. These products “are formulated with OS-01, the first ingredient scientifically proven to reverse skin’s biological age at the molecular level.” I now use both and swear they work!

  • Epres Bond Repair Treatment. As I have gotten older my hair is no longer as soft, is often frizzy and definitely dryer. But this treatment, which I use once a week, makes my hair look and feel years younger!

Clothing

  • Women’s Fremont Stretch Fleece Hoodie by Stio. I love these for cold weather sports, be it cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or skiing. I also keep one in Marin for hiking and wearing around the house.

Books

  • Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus is a must read for someone on your list! And then they can watch the show.

  • Rabbits by Terry Miles is my favorite science fiction/fantasy book of the year. If you or that special someone likes it, I have great news as the sequel just came out!

  • The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday. I keep this on the table next to my bed and love getting a nugget of ancient wisdom each day.

Food

  • Happy Tea made for Ayla Beauty in San Francisco by Myhavtorn. I love to make myself a cup of this tea made from the Sea Buckthorn plant every afternoon.

  • The Fast Five cookbook by Donna Hay. Donna Hay is one of my favorite cookbook authors and my family has loved everything we have made from her newest collection, including the Chicken and Pumpkin Korma and Thai Coconut Red Curry Salmon.

  • Bacon Bomb seasoning by PS Seasoning. My sister gave this to me last year and now our whole family is addicted. We use it to season vegetables and meat and cannot live without it.

  • Party Wine Glass Marker. We are always trying to find ways to not mix up wine glasses during parties. These markers are the best solution we have found.

Experiences

  • Wine tasting and art tour at The Donum Estate in Sonoma. Not only is it a beautiful property with delicious wine but they have an incredible outdoor sculpture park.

  • Indoor skydiving. I took my youngest last weekend and had a blast. I am pretty sure almost everyone would enjoy this activity, particularly those who do not ever see themselves jumping out of a plane.

  • Tickets to The Sphere in Vegas. And for the person who has everything a show at The Sphere is a great call. We saw U2 perform there, and it was fantastic! Make a weekend out of it and catch a comedy show the next night.
